About Us

Brent and Rebecca Miller, a husband and wife team, with three amazing children – Blake 18 years, Blair 15 years, and Rhianna 12 years. They are both involved in Milk IQ as a sharefarming business and platform for some of their philosophies. They have a similar passion for people and business and over time they wanted to explore ways to share this with the wider farming community.
Rebecca comes from a dairy farming family background, with 22 years of dairy farming experience, 13 of which have been in the corporate farming arena, delivering practical, functional systems to create a stable and resilient whole team environment. She has been involved in many groups and projects over the last 15 years. Rebecca also has 10 years of experience working in national and international business in corporate sales, marketing, and analyst roles.

Brent has been dairy farming for over 21 years in various operations, from family-based to corporate, large to small scale systems, systems 1-5 from areas Southland, West Coast, Waikato, and Canterbury region. He has been involved with judging the NZ Dairy Industry Awards,  Dairy business of the year benchmarking, involved with DairyNZ project – Dairy Fatigue, and has been on the Hinds school board of trustees.

They both love the scope of dairy farming, the challenge, and the industry community. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, bike riding, and exploring. Fun Fact – They won an 18-day world trip through Marmite and ZM in 2006 and have been working towards traveling again in future
